How Dearly earns from some links, and why it never costs you anything.
Affiliate tracking codes are added ONLY to product links on shared lists (the /w/ pages). Private lists, seen only by their owner, carry no affiliate codes. This keeps us in line with the Amazon Associates Operating Agreement and makes it clear when an affiliate link is in use.
When you share a list, Amazon and eBay links on it include our tracking codes. This supports Dearly and changes nothing about the price you pay or the shopping experience.
Dearly saves the price found when an item is added but shows only a broad price range on wishlist cards.

Dearly is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com and other Amazon marketplaces worldwide (including but not limited to amazon.ca, amazon.co.uk, amazon.de, and others).
Dearly is a participant in the eBay Partner Network (EPN), an affiliate marketing program that enables us to earn fees by linking to eBay.com and other eBay sites worldwide (including but not limited to ebay.co.uk, ebay.de, ebay.ca, ebay.com.au, and others). When you click on eBay product links and make a purchase, Dearly may receive a commission at no extra cost to you.
When someone clicks an Amazon or eBay link on a shared list and buys something, Dearly may earn a small commission from the retailer at no cost to the buyer. This applies to all Amazon and eBay marketplaces where Dearly is enrolled.
Commissions are paid by the retailer, never by you. The price is the same whether you arrive through Dearly or go straight to the shop.
Affiliate revenue is Dearly's only income. It pays for product lookups and hosting, which is what keeps the service free with no paid tier.
Dearly replaces any Amazon or eBay affiliate code in a link you add with its own on the shared page. If you are an affiliate yourself, a Dearly list is not a place to earn from your links.
When a shop link on a shared list is opened we add one to a counter for that list and item. We do not record who clicked, from where, or with what device.
Dearly currently partners with Amazon Associates and the eBay Partner Network. Any future programme will be disclosed here and will follow the same principles: transparent, and never at your expense.
